Aviva Dekel

Aviva was born, and grew up, in Haifa. She moved to Eilat, with her husband and two children, in 1967. It was in Eilat that she began to paint and to write.

Aviva has held exhibitions in numerous countries, including America (New York and Washington), Canada (Ottowa), Germany (Berlin, Kamen and Dortmund) and Switzerland (Zürich). She has also held many exhibitions in galleries all over Israel. She has published seven books, one for adults and six for children. She also illustrated one of her books: "The Adventures of Pablo in the Cello Forest". A new children's book is due to be published at the end of this year.
